Becoming a member of the Aeroclub gives you access to the club’s fleet, facilities, and resources. More importantly, it allows you to take advantage of the wide range of training courses offered to further your aviation knowledge and skills. You’ll also become part of a community of people who share your passion for flying, with opportunities to participate in a variety of aviation events, activities, and flying experiences together.
Membership Benefits

Becoming a member of the Aeroclub offers you a wide range of benefits to support your aviation activities, including:

  • Fly any aircraft in the Aeroclub fleet as Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • Take aircraft on trips (minimum of 2 flight hours per day, subject to aircraft availability)
  • Qualify to fly any aircraft type in the fleet, either solo or with passengers (checkout required for each aircraft type, at the discretion of the instructor team and the Head of Training. Checkouts expire after 90 days without flying that aircraft type)
  • Enjoy excellent aircraft availability thanks to a fleet of more than 40 aircraft
  • Fly a wide variety of aeroplanes, helicopters, and gliders, progressing in line with your training and experience
  • Take part in a range of aviation disciplines, including aerobatics, gliding, air rallies and competitions, and mountain flying, according to your interests

How to become a member

To become a member of the Aeroclub, you simply need to complete the membership application and pay the applicable joining fee and monthly membership fee.

The Aeroclub Barcelona-Sabadell offers several membership categories to suit different needs:

  • General Member: Includes all sporting and flying activities across every section of the Aeroclub, as well as access to the facilities at all Aeroclub branches and operating bases.
  • Section Member: Covers the gliding and microlight flying activities based at the Cerdanya Airfield.
  • Temporary Member: A short-term membership option designed for pilots who will be flying with the Aeroclub for a limited period.
  • Junior Member: For our youngest aviation enthusiasts. If you’d like to introduce your children to the world of flying and share our passion with them, they can join free of charge until the age of 16.
